About Me

My aim is to meet people where they are at, with sensitivity, compassion and emphasis on embodiment and grounding through the treatments I offer. Also, to empower people, when appropriate, with individual Chinese medical lifestyle advice.

I enjoy learning new things and expanding my knowledge related to different aspects of body, mind and spirit. Currently I enjoy exploring various somatic movement practices and approaches to working with emotions, trauma and the fascinating field of neuroscience.

I decided to become a therapist after overcoming my overwhelming health challenges over 20 years ago through practicing Qigong. This ignited my passion to go deeper into Chinese medical philosophy which naturally led me into studying traditional acupuncture.

Another big passion of mine is Craniosacral therapy, which has been helping to heal the consequences of my son’s birth trauma and various other issues.

I also have experience of volunteering as an acupuncturist in a clinic for alcohol and substance misuse, which was the basis of my ongoing learning about various addictions and trauma.

All of the above are continually expanding the experience of treatments I do and my understandings from various points of view from both modern Western and traditional Eastern approaches to science, philosophy and spirituality within the context of health, holistic healing and general well-being.
